Map journeys before pixels

Start by interviewing recent sign-ups to understand friction points. We use a simple journey map to connect goals with UI decisions.

Score each friction point

Assign effort vs. impact to prioritize opportunities. Focus on removing the "stop the flow" blockers first.

  1. Audit your existing analytics and heatmaps.
  2. Interview at least five users that converted and five that churned.
  3. Prototype copy changes before rebuilding screens.
